What Story Does Your Data Tell? Collecting Meaningful Learner-Centered Data (Jolt2023-11)

Description
Schools focus a great deal of attention, resources, and efforts on the use of summative assessments to measure student achievement, often overlooking the power of formative assessment as a part of the learning process and for measuring student growth over time. What data are you using to understand your learners? This micro-course will guide you in identifying your current assessment practices and help you in considering ways to collect data that is more learner-centered.
